The columnar apple tree ‘Blushing Delight’ (Malus domestica) is selected for its two-toned apples, green with a red blush, sweet and juicy. It shows good resistance to diseases, including scab. Producing at a young age, most columnar apple and crabapple trees bloom and bear fruit the year following planting. Their compact growth habit allows them to fit almost anywhere, even in pots on a sunny balcony.

Alternate varieties with about a meter between each columnar tree to create a fruiting hedge that offers much more than just privacy. The columnar apple tree ‘Blushing Delight’ is part of the “Urban Series“, with all varieties in this series blooming mid-season and pollinating well with each other.
