Contrasting, the bugleweed ‘Black Scallop’ (Ajugas reptens), offers foliage with dark and dark shades, bronzed and coppery, semi-evergreen. This versatile ground cover does not shy away from slightly dry, damp or acidic soil. The bugle grows in the sun as well as in the shade with harmonious blue flowers. We harvest its expansive shoots, leaves and flowers with a subtle taste of aged cheddar!
