The crabapple ‘Chestnut’ (Malus domestica) produces small, russet apples with light yellow, aromatic flesh, a sweetness reminiscent of chestnuts, and a hint of juicy, sweet pear. You shouldn’t have to wait more than a year or two for a good harvest.
An excellent pollinator, resistant to most diseases. Cross-pollination.
