The peartree ‘Early Gold’ (Pyrus ussuriensis) is a hardy variety. It produces medium-sized, golden fruit with firm, crisp, and sweet flesh, perfect for eating fresh or processing. Highly productive, it ripens in August, offering an early harvest. Its abundant spring blossom also makes it an excellent pollinator for other pear trees. Manchurian pear trees are partially self-fertile, but production will increase with the presence of another tree.
