Rose 'William Baffin'
Rosa x kordesii
3 m       2 m      Hardiness zone 3

With its hardiness as an arctic explorer resistant to diseases, the rose ‘William Baffin’ (rosa x kordesii) inspires us to make a rose ice cream during the heatwaves. Waves of semi-double fuchsia clusters, abundant in early summer, make your nostrils sway until the frosts. Lulling you with a light perfume, near fences or under arbors, they invite you to sail towards the 7th heaven, a glass of rosé flower in hand. It sometimes glows yellow towards autumn. Useful as a privacy hedge that is both defensive and charming, the adventurous and thorny suckers of the rose bush ‘William Baffin’ must be mowed at least once a year to prevent it from invading.
