Russian sage ‘Crazy Blue’ (Perovskia atriplicifolia) is more compact and offers a long flowering. The silvery reflections of its lacy foliage highlight with panache the linear flower stems which stretch their graceful arrows in a mist of blue-tinged flowers, sweet, with an aroma between sage and lavender. Harvest them from summer to fall. Deer or roe deer are not interested in them, unlike pollinators and butterflies.
