Apricot 'Scout'
Prunus armeniaca
The ‘Scout’ apricot tree (Prunus armeniaca) offers golden, firm fruit. The orange flesh is tasty in jam and transformed into an exotic dessert.
Partially self-fertile. The harvest usually comes from the 2nd year, abundant the 3rd or 4th year, provided that the spectacular flowering of the apricot tree, early among the fruit trees, does not sink under the blow of a late spring frost.
‘Scout’ stands out among the most resistant to late frosts. Yellowing foliage in the fall.
